Language Arts
Reading – This program stresses development of competence in reading comprehension and vocabulary.

Literature – This program continues to develop competence in reading comprehension and vocabulary. Appreciation of classic literature is developed.

English – This program stresses the development of competence in grammar, punctuation, usage, and coherent writing. Application of these principles is practiced in writing activities.

Spelling – This program encourages application of spelling principles to daily work in written communication.
Mathematics
This program focuses on computational skills and problem solving with application to the daily lives of the students.
Science
This program serves to introduce the students to major concepts and generalizations in the life, earth, and physical sciences. Processes develop experimentation, inquiry, and sound research techniques.
Social Studies
Students will explore various social units and learn about people of the world. Geography, map skills, American and World History are included in this subject.

ENROLLING AT SAINTS BRUNO & RICHARD SCHOOL

Admission Requirements for New Students
The following lists the necessary requirement for students to receive admission into Saints Bruno & Richard School:

An official copy of the child's birth certificate (must be submitted within 30 days of enrolling a child).

A child entering our three-year-old preschool must be three-years-old on or before September 1st.

A child entering our four-year-old preschool must be four-years-old on or before September 1st.

A child entering our kindergarten class must be five-years-old on or before September 1st.

A copy of the child's baptismal certificate.

Child's social security card.
-
A record of compliance with local and state health requirements.
Admission Requirements for Transferring Students
Prior to granting admission acceptance, the following application process will be implemented for students who are already attending a school or who are seeking to transfer to Saints Bruno & Richard School:

Interview with admission committee (grades, test scores, IEP, behavior documentation, etc. needed);

Student assessment/ screening;

Principal will call previous school;

Student to participate in a Shadow Day at the St. Bruno and/or St. Richard;

Tentatively within one week, a final evaluation with admission committee; and

If accepted, the registration packet will need to be completed and the registration fee paid. The registration fee is $100 per family if paid on or before Feb. 25, 2022, or $150 per family if paid after Feb. 25, 2022.
